My first trip to Germany was meant to be with my partner. We were going to travel Germany in the winter to see the castles and the snow. That didn't happen. We are both artists and sometimes funds just don't happen in the way that we would like. So instead I went to Germany to model for Amentium latex. This year was the start of me saying yes to any opportunity that seemed like a good idea, so when I saw Helen's post on Facebook about modelling I said yes!! I love being on stage and performing burlesque for nearly two years now I just wanted to do more on stage, it had also ben a while sine I had walked on a catwalk.
The Passion fetish event in Hamburg was full of wonderful people and a diverse range of stalls. It wasn't as huge as some of the ETO events in the UK but the event was realistic, affordable and had a close knit community feel about it without it feeling like a clique. There were paid demonstrations, free shows and catwalks and even an afterparty with some fantastic music!
Just before the event I had a slight panic because I hadn't sent my measurements and I thought "what if she doesn't know that I am really a large size 12?!" because...well...have you seen the castings for latex models? Considering the community is open to all and a large proportion of the alternative scene being slightly larger than a size 10 in some way, for some reason latex castings have started to get a little particular. Amentium on the catwalk however represented a variety of shapes and sizes. In Germany I am quite an average body type as my heritage is from over that way: tall for a woman with some weight about the bum and thighs plus a propensity to build muscle like there's no tomorrow. The Amentium catwalk was basically a huge array of wonderful bottoms in shiny latex.
I made new friends, I rekindled my love for the fetish scene and I am now officially an international model. It took me a long time to come this far. The latex fetish scene is where I started in a non-professional capacity and it has taken me until now to just go and do it. I will always remember this event and I would love to do it again!
