So I have made a few decision recently to cut the crap out of my beauty regime (if you can call it that). I have gone very basic over the past few years and with less income I have only been treating myself to essentials when I can and trying to get more impact for my money. This week I had a browse for my fave Lush items online as Halloween is coming up and got my yearly dose of Lord of Misrule shower gel with the Bewitched set, but most importantly I purchased a new scalp balm: Superbalm. I kept looking for the Snake Oil product but I can't get hold of it. I get stress related dry skin on my scalp, at one point a few years ago I couldn't go in to work as scabs had formed on top of my hair. Thankfully I am far more healthy and less stressed these days. However, I shaved my hair off yesterday so I thought some TLC on the scalp would be a good idea! In the meantime I purchased the Mystic knot wrap just in case I need to cover my scalp until it gets fixed.
I love lip scrubs, I use a lot of vegan lip colours because I get a reaction to a lot of other lip colours but the products are often dry, so I purchased the Black rose moisturising lip scrub which is delicious and creates a lovely base for my vegan lip colours! I am currently using Pumpkin by Limecrime because...well...Autumn.
Finally, I went in to the Lush store today because whilst I was doing my online shop I noticed that they had lovely new perfumes in! I have been using Sikkim Girls for a while but I have gone off the smell completely so I thought that it was time to revamp. A similarly short haired lady called Amber helped me test out lots of perfumes and I came away with Icon. I have a fab new collection of Lush products now!
Lots of Lush, meditation, Pukka teas, Yoga and creating things!
